INTRODUCTION TO HOST TRAINERS


NECA Group Training is a registration Group Training Organisation established and owned by the industry organisation representing electricians - the National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA), for the specific purposes of training apprentices to become future qualified electricians.

The Company’s not-for-profit status ensures customers (Host Trainers) are charged at little more than the cost for the time that the apprentice spends at work. Office overhead costs are not included in the charge-out rate and no charge is incurred by the customer for the apprentice’s attendance at TAFE, when taking annual leave, sick days or RDO’s. All legislative payments such as Superannuation and workers compensation are paid by NECA Group Training promptly.

A NECA Group Training apprentice comes to ready for work. Being provided with uniforms and safety equipment such as safety boots, helmet, gloves etc. OH&S Construction Safety training is also provided by NECA Group Training.
