The electrical
& refrigeration industries
NECA Group Training is a company founded by the National Electrical
Communications Association, NSW Chapter, to promote the employment of young
people into the trades. NECA Group Training employs apprentices and after
a three month period they are signed on as indentured apprentices.
Electrotechnology is an exciting and increasingly diverse industry including
installation and repair of lights, power, air conditioning, refrigeration,
fire protection, security alarm systems and data/telecommunications systems.
This work is performed in a variety of environments ranging from domestic
to commercial, industrial and resource projects.
As a consequence, the industry requires keen apprentices to work in a very
exciting and challenging career.
